February 11th, 2021

I’ve retreated, posted less on social media, quit reaching out to people. I have been taking the Covid Pandemic extremely seriously. To the point that I didn’t want to see others that weren’t taking it seriously. As much as I want to return to normal life, I don’t want rush and catch the virus after being so good for almost a year. If I am anything, it is patient. So if anybody feels like I dipped, I did and it’s gonna take a min to get back.

I reopened my songbook and have been falling in love with my old tunes, learning piano and drums and syncing with my guitar again. I’ve signed up for a course that will take music industry knowledge to the next level in addition to graduating this May from Baruch college. I’ll soon have a degree in Music! I’ve also joined a certain app that has motivated me to get out there. (It’s Clubhouse, it’s amazing. *hint: sign up for it even if you don’t have an invite yet to reserve your username*)

A big hurdle I have is figuring out where to focus my energy. Playing music and writing songs is easy, but then what do you do with them? No more busking, I have to go live somewhere, but where?

Since I’ve been reawakening, I’ve been asked to be a part of three projects!

Friday, Feb 12: I’ll be performing with my student club, Lexington Music at 6pm (Eastern).

Saturday, Feb 13th: I’ll be performing for an Online Lesbian Speed Dating Event. 530pm (Eastern)

Next Saturday, Feb 20: I will be performing live and interviewed on  Off Stage Tunes . 11am (Eastern)

I will be going live on my own soon. Communicating is not my strong suit, I’m a worker bee and I miss the trains, but I will try to talk more. And I appreciate that when I opened myself up again, I was received. Let’s GO 2021!
